We had a great time here thanks to the location of this Airbnb. The beach is steps away and restaurants, bars and shops are also just a few minutes walk away. However, there is a lot the host can do to make this apartment better. Firstly, the check-in instructions were not clear and the lock was hard to use. We messaged the host for assistance but were given instructions that didn’t make sense. The apartment itself was mostly clean except for the floor which was very dirty. The hairdryer also didn’t work so had to go and buy one ourselves (which we were reimbursed for). Finally, there is a really horrid smell in the building corridor. I had read this comment on previous reviews but didn’t realise how truly bad it is. Overall, it’s a great location but considering the price, the host could definitely make some improvements.

This was a good place for our two day getaway. The elevator was out of service, the key was hard to use, and the beach access fob didn't work to get back in, but we appreciated the extra walking. The pool was dirty and cloudy, but the OCEAN is steps away! The lights and the fans were not adjustable, but the ac units worked great. Our view was of the construction, but we watched the workers in amazement. South Beach, restaurants, and stores are right outside! Don't wait..... GO NOW!

The place itself was worth what we paid for. The price was affordable for the short time we were there and we can’t complain about the location as south beach was walking distance and super fast to get to. The listing does show that you have ocean view which is not completely true. We could not see the ocean from the condo you could only see it if you walk out to the pool. Everything was fairly good although the instructions could’ve been a little bit more clear about what door to walk in to actually enter the building. The instructions only included how to get the keys from the lockbox which was through a gate next to a barbershop which caused confusion on how to actually get in the official building. Other than that, I’d say it was a reasonable price for what it was.

Mauvais numéro sur Airbnb j’ai du attendre 4heures à l’extérieur car je n’ai pas reçu les instructions. Quand l’hôte a finalement répondu, n’a même pas pris la peine de s’excuser pour le tort occasionné, j’ai fait l’entrée dans le logement qu’à partir de 23h40 alors qu’initialement c’était prévu à 16h. Sur les taies d’oreiller il y avait des poils, et beaucoup de poussière sur la tête de lit et les tables de chevet ce qui nous a pas rendu à l’aise dans le logement. La cuisine est pratique avec ce qu’il faut pour pouvoir cuisiner.

They use a normal key you get from a lock box. I have gone keyless in my personal life so it was a bit of an inconvenience to have to carry a couple of keys around (especially to the beach). When I tried to get in, the key wouldn't work. I called a few times and didn't get an answer the first couple of times. I was let in the main door by someone leaving, so I went to the apartment. When I finally talked to them about the key not working, they said that the lock itself was old and it was not a problem with the key. I went to try again and it was very difficult and finicky. There was a spare key in the room and that one worked just fine. There is a keypad on the apt door that they didn't give the combination to so it made no sense that I had to use a key. Anyway, overall it was ok especially for the location.
